Today is World Nutella Day organized by Sara from Ms. Adventures in Italy and Michelle from Bleeding Espresso. My entry this year are steamed muffins which are steamed in the microwave. They are really yummy 🙂
I made them recently for my japanese class and all of them loved those muffins.
4 persons
40 g Mascarpone or another cream cheese
1/2 tbsp white wine
1/2 vanilla pod (the seeds of it)
1 tbsp cream
1 tbsp oil
2 eggs
50 g sugar
50 g flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
4 tsp Nutella
Before you start prepare the forms. I used soufflé forms. Place baking paper in them.
Add mascarpone and white wine in a microwave proofed form. Put it for 10 sec at 500 W in the microwave. Mix well. Add vanilla seeds, cream and oil to it. Mix well again.
Beat the eggs with the sugar until white and fluffy. Add the mascarpone mix, flour and baking powder. Mix until you have a smooth dough.
Distribute the mixture in the 4 forms. Place 1 tsp Nutella on top. Cover them with microwave proof foil. Steam at 150-200 W for 5 minutes. Then steam then for 1,5 minutes at 500 W. Take them out of the form and serve them with whipped cream.
